The professors and researchers are in charge of preparing their proposals. However, the Project Management Office provides support, namely:

  • In providing the necessary institutional information or documents;
  • In matching project ideas to existing funding opportunities;
  • In the development of strategic diagnosis;
  • In the development of financial models, such as investment plans, viability checks and project cost-benefit analysis.

However, the proposal budget should be sent to the Project Management Office (UProj) at the latest five days before the deadline, so that a viability check can be run. Besides, a pdf version of the proposal and budget should also be sent to UProj at the latest five days before the deadline, so that the dean of the faculty where the professor/research is based can validate the proposal. After submission, the final version of the proposal should be sent to UProj, so that all the information can be inserted in UProj information system.
