At U.Porto (which includes Faculties, Transversal Services, R&D Units and Competency Centers), 416 projects were approved during this period, as the result of proposals submitted to several funding programmes.
The raised external funding amounts to 80,2 million €.
There is a greater dynamism raising external funds by the Faculty of Engineering (FEUP) and Faculty of Sciences (FCUP), which together with the Rectorate (REIT) of the U.Porto, are the three entities that manage 60% of the total projects financed by external funds.
The Faculty of Engineering (FEUP), Faculty of Sciences (FCUP), Faculty of Medicine (FMUP) and Rectorate (REIT) are in the forefront in terms of raised external funding, as they altogether raised a total of 66.4 million €.
The vast majority of projects are financed by National Funds (78% of the total).
